Nine games make up Pragmatic Play’s Dog House series since the original launched in 2019: The Dog House, The Dog House Megaways, The Dog House Multihold, The Dog House Dice Show, The Dog House – Muttley Crew, The Dog House – Royal Hunt, The Dog House – Dog or Alive, The Big Dog House and The Dog House Megaways 1000. Every entry shares the same backbone: a wild that lands with a 2x or 3x multiplier and turns sticky once free spins begin. What changes is the grid, the ceiling and the free-spins trigger. This page maps all nine.

All nine Dog House games
Here’s the whole family side by side. RTP shown is the default version only — Pragmatic Play ships two or three versions of every game and the casino picks which one runs; see our RTP guide for every version we could confirm.

A word on “None confirmed” and “Not documented”: we haven’t found a buy option for the 2019 original or firm buy-feature terms for Dice Show, so we’re not inventing one. Where a game does have a buy option, remember what that button actually does: it spends your stake at many times the normal rate in a single click, so the round arrives faster without the variance getting any smaller — our bonus-buy guide breaks the price down for every title that offers one.
Stake exclusives
Two more Dog House builds run outside the nine games in the table above, both exclusive to Stake and both marketed as enhanced-RTP versions rather than general releases. The Dog House Mansion Megaways rebuilds the 2020 Megaways game at 98.00% theoretical RTP, confirmed on its own rules screen for the base game and Buy Free Spins alike — well clear of the standard game’s 96.55% default — and changes how its wild multipliers combine, multiplying together instead of adding. The Dog House – No Dog Left Behind does the same job for the Wild West side of the family, rebuilding Dog or Alive at 98.02% RTP, again identical whether spun naturally or bought.
Neither counts toward the nine games above, and neither replaces the games they’re built from: every other casino carrying this series runs the standard Megaways and Dog or Alive builds instead, at their own lower default RTPs. Stake is currently the only place to find either exclusive.
Which Dog House should you play?
New to the series: The Dog House
Start with the 2019 original if you want the mechanic in its simplest form: 20 fixed paylines, a wild that adds its multiplier to whatever else lands on the line, and a 3×3 grid reveal that sets your free-spins count. It’s the version everything else in this piece builds on.
Ways over lines: The Dog House Megaways
If 20 paylines feels restrictive, Megaways swaps them for a six-reel, up-to-117,649-ways structure, plus an actual choice between two free-spins modes. Our Megaways review covers both in detail.
Multiple grids at once: The Dog House Multihold
Multihold keeps the 20-payline layout but lets a second, third and fourth grid open mid-round, with sticky wilds carrying across all of them. See how it plays out in our Multihold breakdown.
The highest ceilings: Megaways 1000 and The Big Dog House
For the biggest numbers on paper, look to the two 2026 entries: The Dog House Megaways 1000 caps out at 25,000x with wild multipliers that scale up to 1,000x, and The Big Dog House caps out at 15,000x with three sizes of wild. Both are extreme-outlier figures, not realistic session targets — treat them as the ceiling, not the expectation.
What makes a Dog House slot a Dog House slot
Two things repeat across the whole family. First, the wild multiplier: a wild lands carrying a 2x or 3x boost (up to 1,000x in Megaways 1000’s case), and in the original game those multipliers add together on a line for up to 9x. Second, once free spins start, wilds that land turn sticky — they stay put, multiplier and all, for the rest of the round instead of disappearing after one spin. Our mechanics glossary goes through sticky wilds, raining wilds, Multihold and the newer Big Dog House mechanics term by term.
How you find out your free-spins count varies more than you’d expect. The original game, Royal Hunt and Dog or Alive all reveal it through a 3×3 grid pick; Megaways and Megaways 1000 instead hand you a straight choice between two wild modes before the round starts; Multihold and Muttley Crew set it by how many scatters land. The cast of dogs changes too — the Doberman is the top-paying symbol in the 2019 original, the Rottweiler holds the same spot in Megaways — though later entries swap in pirate dogs, noble hounds or a Wild West cast depending on the theme.
Newest releases
The Big Dog House, released 21 May 2026, is the first entry to break from a single wild size: it runs three, from a standard 1×1 up to a colossal 3×3, alongside new Ghost Wilds that can strip existing sticky wilds as well as boost them. The game’s own splash screen rates its volatility medium — in line with most of the series — and its 15,000x max win is the series’ second-highest. It also carries 12 separate buy-feature options, more than any other game in the family.
The Dog House Megaways 1000, released 13 July 2026, is a separate title from the 2020 Megaways game rather than a re-skin of it. It keeps the up-to-117,649-ways structure but pushes wild multipliers as high as 1,000x, stacking multiplicatively, and adds an Ante Bet — the only Dog House game with one — for a higher bonus-trigger chance at a higher stake. Its 25,000x max win is the highest figure found anywhere in the series; see our max win breakdown for how every game’s ceiling compares.

Where to play
Casino availability depends on your country and each casino’s own licence, so check a licensed operator’s lobby directly and search “Dog House” once you’re in. We keep a running list of where the series shows up on our where-to-play page. Try the demo first regardless of which casino you land on.
Other dog slots
Pragmatic Play isn’t the only studio with a dog-themed slot in its lobby. Our roundup of other dog slots covers what else is out there and how it stacks up against this series, including Snoop Dogg Dollars and the card game Red Dog, which only shares this series’ name.
FAQ
Is there a Dog House 2 or a Dog House Megaways 2?
No. We found no evidence of “The Dog House 2”, “The Dog House Megaways 2”, “Dog House Fortune” or “Dog House Bonanza” in Pragmatic Play’s own catalogue or in any tracker we checked. The nine real games are the ones in the table above.
Which Dog House game has the highest RTP?
Among the default versions we could confirm, The Dog House Megaways is highest at 96.55%. Every game in the series ships with two or three RTP versions rather than one, and the casino you play at chooses which is live — check the game’s own info screen, or see our full RTP breakdown, before assuming a figure applies.
Which Dog House game has the biggest max win?
The Dog House Megaways 1000 has the highest confirmed figure in the series at 25,000x stake, just ahead of The Big Dog House at 15,000x. Both are extreme outliers rather than realistic outcomes for a normal session.
Can I play the Dog House games on mobile?
This piece is built from paytables and RTP tables, not device specs, so we won’t state a blanket claim here. In my own sessions, the demos have loaded fine in a phone browser as well as on a desktop, but check the specific casino’s site to confirm before you play for real.
Can I play any of these for free?
Yes. All nine have a play-money demo, and most casinos load it straight from the lobby tile. Visit our free-play demos to try any of them with no money involved.
