About dogslots.net and Lewis Hartley

dogslots.net is an independent guide to Pragmatic Play’s Dog House slot series — nine games released between 2019 and 2026 — plus a smaller section on dog-themed slots from other studios. It is not a casino, does not accept deposits or run any game, and has no connection to Pragmatic Play beyond writing about its games from the outside. What holds the site together is a fairly narrow brief: cover this one slot family properly, using sources we can name, rather than cover the whole industry thinly.

Who writes this

Lewis Hartley writes every page on this site. He’s followed the Dog House series since the 2019 original, and the reviews are built from playing each game’s free demo and reading its own paytable, rules and info screens directly, not from press releases or other sites’ write-ups. Where one source disagrees with another, that disagreement gets reported rather than smoothed into a single confident number. What a page is worth comes down to whether its figures match the paytable and whether the source behind each one is named, so that is what this site puts forward, and nothing beyond it.

How we build a page

Every fact about a game — release date, RTP versions, max win, symbol payouts, bonus mechanics — comes from a shared fact sheet built from Pragmatic Play’s own game pages plus at least one or two independent trackers such as SlotCatalog, AboutSlots or BigWinBoard. Where those sources conflict, as they do on a few release dates in this franchise, the page says so instead of picking whichever one sounds most authoritative. RTP is never quoted as a single figure, because Pragmatic Play itself ships two or three versions of every game and licenses all of them to casinos — every RTP guide on this site lists every version we could confirm, not just the one that sounds best.

What we don’t do

We don’t publish player-win stories, “how I hit the max win” posts, or anything framed as a strategy for beating a game’s RTP — there isn’t one, and slots don’t reward one. We don’t describe a game as more likely to pay out because of what it’s done recently, or suggest that a spin is somehow owed a result, because a random number generator carries no memory from one spin to the next. And we don’t cover games outside sourced facts: if a figure isn’t in our own research, the page says it’s unconfirmed rather than filling the gap with a plausible-sounding number.

How affiliate links work

Some of the casino links on this site are affiliate links: if you register through one and go on to play, we may receive a commission from the casino. That arrangement doesn’t change which games we review, what we say about a game’s mechanics, or which RTP figures we report — those come from the same fact sheet regardless of who’s paying for the click. Full detail, including exactly what that means for you, is on our affiliate disclosure page.
